Music evening at Maison de Maitre

Susie and Katie singing along with the Soggy Bottom Dogs on Music night, Day 5.

Jone and Sue, friends for over 30 years enjoying the music...

almost falling off the couch....this was before we all got up to dance...

The local boys put on a great show, too much fun!

Ms. Jone Hallmark's outstanding paper cuts...my favorite things...birds, mushrooms, hedgehogs!

Here's Jone! Posing with her pal, Oolie's mushroom pin...(that I coveted!) Did I tell you how much I loved meeting and being with all these wonderfully creative spirits???

Our little room in L'Espace....

Meal time at Maison de Maitre the main house....

Love the writing on the wall....

Radishes from our visit to the farmers market...

Best roommate ever, Syd checks out the Selvedges during free time....

One of the cats napping on the rain barrel during lunch on the patio...

Sue Dreamer and Jone kept us smiling and made gifts for us all..

The charming Rebecka from Sweden wore the coolest clothes each and every day. She is a teacher and wears her collection of vintage clothing for her students to enjoy. A fantastic photographer, she took wonderful photos of our time at Les soeurs. Check out her amazing blog: Vintage Fairy Tales.

Oolie, an incredible embroiderer , maker of enchanting pins...

Jessie and Syd sharing stories....

flowers on the walkway...

And a few of Jessie's lovely pieces...

Day 7 we have brunch, say good bye to our home for a week and depart for Angouleme train station.
Next stop Paris for a week!
