Hooked Crow

Just got this hooked crow finished up. I have two more in the works. I think they look best in a group. Hope to put them into our shop in Solvang next week.
Heat wave here again...may have to go cool off in the Pacific Ocean today!

Hi Mary! I've been admiring your work for some time now and was wondering, do you have any plans in the future to put together kits of your designs for (fingers crossed) sale?

Hi Paula, I have been thinking about selling patterns. Maybe when I get back from Mexico I can get going on some simple designs. Thanks for asking!

Hi, Mary, I have been following your blog for some months now and just love all your work especially the hooked shapes. I've been having a go myself, but have yet to find a really satisfactory way to finish the edges and back. If I didn't live thousands of miles away in England, I'd definitely be signing up for one of your classes. Can you recommend a good book or tutorial to give me some more ideas?

Hi Jane,
If you send me your email and address I think I can come up with some helpful books and directions on how I finish the backs of the stuffed pieces.
